We have a man with a van coming at 7 this evening, he's collecting the double bed, dishwasher and washing machine and taking them to my new home.
The electric supply has been reconnected by the old supplier and the new supplier is taking over tomorrow.
Cass will fill her car with boxes and I will walk with Beano and my shopping trolley, which is full of tinned food, I do have a can opener. The local shop is open until late so if I need anything I can pop in there. I have a kettle and tiny fridge that holds a pint of milk, so it will be able to make a cuppa.
I've ordered a very small fridge freezer, toaster, vacuum cleaner and hot plate, they are being delivered on 27th and 28th. Cass is giving me a counter top oven.
I will organise a regular Sainsbury's delivery in the new year and I'm getting milk delivered three times a week by the local milkman. Once I have a proper fridge I may order orange juice, sourdough bread and yoghurt as well.
I'm sure to have forgotten something but it will all be sorted eventually.
