I received a lovely message y'day from my neighbour Harry, where i used to live. He was asking about Beano as he was very fond of him and misses seeing him.
He tactfully didn't mention Steve and neither did I in my reply but I have offered to keep him updated with news of Beano.
Today I went to the local pub for lunch, my grass has been mowed by a local gardener, I've changed my bedding, dried two machine loads of washing on the line, had a delivery of compost for the garden and I've been sent some assorted fabric that an online friend couldn't use.
The fabric is in a pile and I keep looking at it,awaiting for inspiration to strike. I think I can make a dressing gown and a couple of short sleeved tops at least.

Your life sounds so peaceful and calm now, enjoy. June
You sound so much happier. Best wishes to you and Beano.
It is a pleasure to read of your day to day life now that you've freed yourself from your ex. Life has ups and downs and most of us can navigate them but constant friction of a broken relationship should not be a life sentence. I'm happy for you and Beano. You are a kind and caring person and that shows now.
Lovely to have fabric sent to you to make some tops and a dressing gown.Catriona
So happy for you!
I expect it was good to hear from your old neighbour. Glad you sound like you and Beano are having a happier time.
That was nice of him xx
How lovely of Harry. Enjoy the fabric from your online friend.
It's great to hear from old friends, especially one who loves Beano. It sounds like you've been incredibly busy!
So good to read that you can have an occasional lunch at the pub - in fact, living a normal life without ridicule or argument. Enjoy! Rosemary xx
