I'm keeping busy by making a crochet blanket, I'm using the yarn I purchased at the Jumble Sale for 50p. So far I've used less than half the yarn. The blanket may be ugly but it will be warm, I'm going to back it with a flannelette sheet.

Not ugly at all, I really like the choice of colours. x
Not ugly!
I agree, it's certainly not ugly and is the sort that's really comforting. Look forward to seeing the next round of colour sometime. Elaine
No, that’s not ugly. It’s going to be super when you finish it and it will be lovely and warm, too.
I think the blanket looks cozy and it’s a great use of scrap yarn. Not ugly at all. Catriona
Yes indeed, that's one ugly blanket.
I'm sure it will be very cozy!
Not ugly at all, but lovingly home crafted and I like the way you arranged the colours. xx
Who told you it’s ugly? It is far from that. We all have our favorite color combinations but you’ve done a wonderful job with a very nice result. Enjoy every snuggly, toasty moment. Can’t wait to see the next one!
Def not ugly it’s beautiful and love the color way
It's going to be wonderfully snug
It looks great & it will be cosy which is the main thing!
The blanket is looking good. I enjoy crocheting blankets. It's both relaxing and therapeutic. I've never backed a blanket, though my late friend did. I find them warm enough as they are. My late husband used to tease me, joking that, that stitch made a blanket with holes in and that it would let the draught in, 😀 but of course it didn't, and he found them cosy enough when he napped in the chair.
I've even crocheted blankets for single and double beds.
Enjoy doing yours, and best wishes to you.
Jean.
oh its lovely, what a great idea with the backing never heard of that before
The colours of wintery sunset. It will be cosy, keeping your lap warm as you make it.
