I'm freeeeeeee!

Well that's it, it's all done and dusted. I'm officially retired.

I came home laden with gifts, chocolates and gift vouchers.

The head made a nice farewell speech, my line manager declined to speak.

Tonight I'm going out for a celebratory meal.

Best wishes! I took early retirement almost three years ago, and never looked back. Money is tight, but I have lots to do, baking from scratch, quilting, sewing and knitting. I make soap as well. Love the posts.

Best job ever. Take your time and see what work youwant to do. I worked in a local coffee shop when I retired one day a week and I loved it. People could not understand how I could lower myself to be a waitress but it was so good to have little responsibility and meet people to chat with and serve with fresh tasty food. Happy retirement.
