It was wet and chilly, it was dismal out and I got wet when I was shopping.
Fortunately I have some thick socks knitted for me by a friend and the lovely Paul on the fuel boat delivered some coal and logs so I was toasty warm on the boat.
CHS was shrammed when I collected him but he soon warmed up after a hot meal.

That’s a new word to me, had to look it up. We invented a new term for walking, bodily warm but cold everywhere else, or bodily cold but warm everywhere else.
Rain here too, not cold but very dreich and miserable. Autumn has well set in, for sure!
