Yesterday morning a large half eaten pike was found on the edge of the marina.
The pike was easily the size of a man's arm.
The marina staff set up a camera and were able to film an otter as it came back the following night to reclaim its supper.

That is fabulous - shows that the waterways around the marina are nice and healthy!
Wow. Wonderful wild life.
so glad they didn't get rid of it, would have loved to see this.

Oh my! How thrilling to know there are otters around you. May they continue to thrive.
Brilliant
How wonderful, the otter must have a big appetite to have eaten half the first night. I have just found out we have otters on our riverbank near to where the local Heron has his territory. I keep loitering trying to spot any signs but nothing so far. Isn't it good that suddenly they are in more places in the country.
Wildlife continues to amaze!
