It's beginning to feel a lot like

Christmas, I mean home, as more items find their place.

The DGC's favourite books, picture books for the youngest, Jennifer Jones Won't Leave Me Alone, We're Going on a Bear Hunt and My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes.
Longer stories for the older ones, Fantastic Mr Fox, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch, also on this shelf is a cuddly toy and a games compendium.

A few favourite books including crochet, plant recognition and dressmaking.

CD's, Frank Zappa, Joe Jackson, Phil Collins and Dolly Parton.

It has taken us months and months Pat, we bought our narrowboat in February and have only lived on her full time for 2 or 3 weeks.

Wot, no Mozart or Mahler? As the Maureen Lipman character said in Educating Rita, "Wouldn't you just die without Mahler?"
If I had to refine my music collection, which has all kinds of music from Elvis and Abba to Berlioz and Beethoven, I don't know what I'd keep and what I'd discard. I'd certainly have Mozart's Requiem and Richard Strauss's Four Last Songs (sung by Jessye Norman.)
But yes, it's beginning to look as well as feel like home, I should think. And now lovely to be on water in this heatwave!
