| My button tin is actually 3 large Celebration tins, Norah only tipped one of them over. My button collection contains the contents of my Mum's and my Grandma's button tins and also those of a few friends and relatives mum's. |

| We finally managed to make this, Norah chose the most slippery fabric I had so it wasn't the easiest thing to make. |

I am looking forward to the day that I can teach Kaitlyn to sew. I may try Junior as well, he is very much a macho boy but hates being left out of anything. I hope you had as much fun as you could.

I taught my brother to use my machine and after a while he developed quite a side income making custom camping and hiking gear....even specially designed tents.
Hope this has given you a little lift. As others have said, shortened hours are only good if you a tually take them an d resist being guilted into working twice as hard the rest of the time....I know from experience, unfortunately.
Button boxes...like you I had several tins from a number of people. As I have no children to share with I recently sighed and donated them to an art coop in the area along with other sewing things. I no longer make fancy clothing or costumes for dance companies . It was hard to let go of that part of my life no so much the things. I did free up quite a bit of storage though!

Well Norah is adorable and love the sewing project. Alittle mess is alright when having fun. I can't sew but do a gingerbread house and crafts with my grandchildren.Glitter,glue, and a mess everywhere. I love it. Cheryl
