Scrimping and saving, ranting and raving. Past retirement age but still working, permanently knackered. Trying to manage on a reduced wage, looking forward to the next dream.
Lots of lovely material that go well together there. What's the plan?Have you got a big button tin too?Gill
Are you going to make some quilts? Have a look at bonnie hunters blog and her free patters that all come with instructions, I've used her designs and they are easy
FiD, I'm making a quilt & no I don't have a big button tin, I have 3 celebration tubs full of buttons, lol!Froogs, I'll take a look at that, thanks.
Love men's shirts, I have a small case full tucked away for a memory quilt next year. When I buy shirts I look for the XXXL for all the extra fabric, they cost just the same as Small in the CS.
Would make a wonderful quilt! Love re-using fabric....
My family laughed and laughed when I showed them this post. I had just spent the afternoon cutting up my SIL's shirts after having removed all the buttons and put them into one of my 3 red plastic tins ( you know the ones I mean) catriona
