New shoes, not.

I bought these shoes 3 or 4 years ago from a local charity shop, they are Hotter shoes, real leather and very comfortable. I paid, I think £4, they looked brand new when I bought them but 4 years of regular wear and they were beginning to look more than a little worn.

I invested in a bottle of shoe dye and this is the result, I took the inner soles out whilst I was dying them but will replace them as soon as the dye dries.

Wonderful! What a good idea, I must look for some shoe dye, I have several pairs that could do with a renew.
Wonder where you got the dye.
Thanks for sharing.

From Margie in Toronto - what a funny coincidence! I have a terrible time getting shoes to fit and I found their website offering wide fit & even triple E widths in quite a nice selection. I ordered from the UK website and I hope they arrive next week. The ones I've ordered are black leather ballet slippers - quite similar to yours.

I used to do that all the time when I was younger! Often cos I fancied a different colour. Remember dying a pair silver for a sixth form ball 😳

Wardrobe

We have a wardrobe in the bedroom that was left by the previous resident. It is perfectly sound but it smells of stinky feet. I've tried...
