More madness

So what do you do when you've spent all you money on trainers & makeup & you can't afford to eat without borrowing money, of course, silly question, you spend £200 on a fecking tattoo. At the same time telling people that it's not fair & some people are really lucky 'cos they have a freezer full of meat & they  can afford to eat!
And what do you do if you don't work/have never worked & you are depressed? Spend £450 on a fecking puppy! I'm all for people having a pet to cheer them up, but do you have to spend £450, especially when you already have 4 fecking dogs!

Did they borrow the money for the tattoo aswell? If they did, more fool the person who lent it to them.

Lordy.. I know of a family who claim benefits but could afford to buy two pedigree dogs for 500 each....then please poverty. The lights plast all day, they have sky ty etc and no intention of working. I am related to said family. Yes madness. Instant gratification.

When someone asked to borrow money ( not the above family) for food I bought them a bag of shopping including eggs, beans, potatoes, pasta etc Not like I would get hte cash back if I had given them money.. £50. The shopping bad cost less. Similarly I watched a clever lady give a beggar who had a sign up saying they were hungry give said person some rolls, jar of spread. Clearly they were very hungry so much so they put the rolls in the bin. Meh! Some people are mad, Atttention??? Do they think we are stupid??

Why would anybody spend money they don't have on a puppy, when there are hundreds in animal shelters who would love to have a new home in return for a tiny outlay????
As for everything else, there seems to be a mindset amongst some people of " I want this now, but who will pay for it for me?", which I completely can't understand. It makes me sad, but I am also pleased to say that I appreciate everything I have because I've worked/saved for it, and my daughter is learning the same values as well.

We live in a 'because I am worth it' culture. It's the whinging and whining that really irritates; 'poor me, it's not fair, everyone else has them why can't I?'

Tell these people what you think of them and then stop associating with them.

New neighbours.

A couple of days ago I met the couple who have purchased one of the flats here. The flat is over two floors, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms...
