Today I went to my daughter's to collect my bank card.
It was definitely an essential journey as without my bank card I cannot shop for food.
It was lovely to see the grandchildren even if it was through a window.
After greeting me joyfully, Marla's first words were "Where's Busy?" I.e. Steve.
Teddy took one look at what I was carrying and said "Did you bring us some treats?"
I had taken a packet of Oreos with me.

Children do seem to have one track minds where sweets and treats are concerned.
So nice when you can see grand kids, mine are all grown, however, do have great grands.
I remember when my aunt used to bring me sweets or my Grandma gave me sixpence, these things made me feel special and I still feel loved when I recall it x
Grandparents tend to have an association with treats. Whether its sweets, chocolate or cakes.
How wonderful such a great treat for you to be able to see them. I am sure it must have lifted your spirits.
i love the names Teddy and Marla x
