it didn't cost anything. I'm often amazed by people who think they have got a freebie when actually it's cost a lot of money. Magazines are a case in point, ok so you have a free gift, but you will have paid £3 or £4 for your free gift, magazine subscriptions are even worse.

Don't forget the 'free' gift with the magazine probably costs postage as well.
My hubby is a sucker for these. He recently bought six boxes of star wars theme cereal because they had a special spoon free. One box cost more than double our usual cereals. I was livid.

Nearer £4 to £5 nowadays. magazines are a rip-off when most are three-quarters ads
