Walking and breathing.

When I walked Beano this morning I did my breathing exercises, that way I feel calmer by the time I return home. I didn't meet any other dog walkers as I slept in and it was past 8 o'clock when I left site.

I did see a red London bus though, I'm assuming it was a private hire, it was an old Routemaster I think.

I looked at the gardens as I walked, some are a sea of dandelions, which I love but no doubt annoys their neighbours. Others are immaculate, one puts out a bowl of water for passing dogs but Beano won't drink from it. Puddles and canal water, yes but not clean drinking water.

I believe some people hire old Routemasters for events, like weddings.

Betty's the same, she flatly refuses to drink from any bowls outside, except our own bowl and water for her we always take out with us. Good idea to do the breathing exercises.

It's good to get out for walks - good for you and Beano! Glad you got to the circus yesterday - sounds like a fun outing.

Pets have funny preferences. There's no way to work them out.

I always have Mavis' old water bowl at the front of our house now, at the pavement side, we are on the route to or from the canal and lots of her doggy friends pass by every day. As Mavis would only drink out of bowls that were lovely and clean, I make sure that it's kept this way for her friends. Although there is one dog that I assume washes his face in it as he always leaves it slightly muddy. :-)

BBQ in the garden.

Steve's in the garden, manning the BBQ, I did go over but the only seats left were in  the sun and it's 30 degrees. It's far too...
