Rambler

If I purchased one of the cubes you suggested Steve would just pile more gibble on top of it.

Mine's the same as yours - he's got clutter everywhere. Gets on your nerves doesn't it.

My husband is the same as well. I saw a suggestion about corralling things in trays. It sort of works for things on the dining room table but there are 3 trays ! The problem is he needs to see things flat, they cannot be piled on top of each other or the ones at the bottom are not there. Neither can they be put away or they cease to exist. And it's the same with clothes, they are strewn over 3 bedrooms now the kids have left home. They are on hangers but have been removed from the clothes rail and laid flat over every surface. I had better stop there as even talking about it is making me seethe

Ha ha! As soon as I posted that, I pictured the cube - complete with clutter all over the top.

Me too, DB has 2 tables either side of his chair, before I moved the bookcase he used that as well, stuffing stuff on the shelves.......what doesn't go on the tables goes on the floor. His chest on his side of the bed is a nightmare. If he asks me where anything is, I will tell him, he comes back and says "I don't see it" I give in, go to where I said it was, there it is in all it's glory!!! Drives me nuts!!!

My husband puts his stuff back where he finds space, so within minutes the T-shirts are on top of the trousers, the car stuff is in between the garden equipment, etc. I have stopped doing home maintenance, because just looking for a screwdriver can take up to half an hour!

Can you put it in a carrier bag for him or a suitcase - I shouldn't really offer any advice as myself I am a very untidy person xx

If I got a carrier bag I'd fit it over his head! Everything has to be in full view, otherwise he forgets he's got it and buys it aga...
