I'm at Cass's, I'm looking after two of the children, Cass has taken one child and some of their friends out for a birthday treat. One of the tribe is at work, one is visiting their family and one is with a friend.
Cass has been unwell, a bug caught from the children but she's battling on. I've blitzed the kitchen for her, sorted the recycling, loaded the dishwasher etc, every little helps. She'll be home around 2:30 and will then take me home along with two more Ikea bags full of wet washing.
I've fed one of the children, the other doesn't want anything yet. Another one is due home any minute, so may need feeding then. There is plenty of food around, I'll prepare what they want when they arrive.
it's nice to feel useful.

I love this for you!
I love this for you!
Cass sounds amazing. You and she are lucky to have each other, you must both be so pleased you're able to help each other.
Not only are you useful, but you are loved and so appreciated which makes all the difference.
And appreciated too I’m sure.
How lovely to feel welcomed and needed in such a positive way
It sounds happily busy around there. X
I am so glad that you get to be close to your daughter and are able to help. When my kids were younger and both their dad and I worked I do not know what I would have done without my mom. She was always helping with the laundry, the cooking, or with running the kids back and forth. I had hoped that some day I would be doing the same for my daughter but alas they live in Atlanta, Georgia, and I just cannot see myself moving all that way. Take care and enjoy your new life!
I bet you are loving being able to help and I'm sure Cass is delighted you live close now.
I bet Cass is so glad that you are nearby and able to help her out. It's a good situation for both of you!
You are obviously a nurturer and are clearly in your element now. You've been taken advantage of by a spiteful nasty man and now can shed all those negative thoughts and get on with living your life the way you want it. Love to Beano x
Isn't it nice to help family. I babysat foster grandbaby yesterday so granddaughter could be taken swimming. He's normally a happy little chap, but had terrible wind yesterday and wouldn't settle. Plus I was lucky as got a text when I arrived home to say he had had a poonami! Xx
So happy for you and for Cass!
nice to see you and Beano back
