Where they expensive? I'm loving the idea of having them.
They cost around £1500 including fitting I think.
Wow that is brilliant, will you be updating us on how much electricity they produce? I'm really interested in the subject.
We have a very similar set up on our camper. It is absolutely wonderful, and allows us to go off grid for camping vacations, plus use it as a guest house. We have 6 deep cycle marine cell batteries that it charges, and a 3000W inverter that we can plug in up to 3 items ( plus a usb port).
Just know how many watts your inverter is and plan any appliance purchases accordingly. I use my sewing machine on every trip, but it only draws 75W, so no problem. Have fun.
