We have a very similar set up on our camper. It is absolutely wonderful, and allows us to go off grid for camping vacations, plus use it as a guest house. We have 6 deep cycle marine cell batteries that it charges, and a 3000W inverter that we can plug in up to 3 items ( plus a usb port). Just know how many watts your inverter is and plan any appliance purchases accordingly. I use my sewing machine on every trip, but it only draws 75W, so no problem. Have fun. Barb

Where they expensive? I'm loving the idea of having them.
They cost around £1500 including fitting I think.
