First the boast:
I'm very grateful that I am adaptable. We have someone off sick at work for a couple of weeks, we are all taking turns to do her job until she returns to work, I do half an hour a day, it's not much but her job is completely different from mine, using a software I don't usually use & it involves 1 to 1 with the students. I'm floundering a bit sometimes but it's not really difficult. The work is divided up so that everyone does the job for 2 & a half hours a week.
Unfortunately this is causing one team member lots of stress, she uses the software daily so that isn't the problem, she already spends time every day dealing with the students so that isn't the problem either. She just cannot cope with the change to her routine, with having to sit at a different desk, with having sit with different team members. I feel so sorry for her, she's finding it very difficult. She has upset other staff by doing her best to avoid doing her share so I'm so very glad I'm adaptable.
Secondly the whinge:
I can't help feeling that if some people spent less time whinging about their kids/life on FB & less time uploading hundreds of pics of them & if they spent more time parenting, they might end up with less problems to whinge about!

I agree whole heartedly (sp) I ended up closing my other FB account with people I know in RL as they had become an online version of Jeremy Kyle.
I don't like Jeremy kyle!
And yes they do go on about how much they love baby blah blah........how much time are they spending with him/her as they put a status up every 10 minutes.
It's good to moan lol
So sorry to hear about you MIL. Just a thought, I don't know if it's at all relevant to your situ as there may be 100 other things to consider, but could MIL be moved nearer to you? My father asked for my grandmother to be moved to the hospital near us for the last weeks of her life, and it made all the difference. We were the only relatives though, appreciate that she may have more relatives near the hospital she's in now. Hope it works out for you.
Sorry to hear about your MIL.
my pet whinge is mums that talk continuously on their mobiles on the bus whilst totally ignoring their babies/children.
What I hate about Facebook! Wish everyone didn't live their daily hates and sarcasm on FB...also their politics and religious rants....like you I want happy pictures and happy thoughts. Life is just too darn short.
Well said. I use FB to keep in touch with family, mainly my sons, and friends.
