No wonder Tesco's profits are plummeting

I ordered some shopping from Tesco, the only delivery slot I could get was between 9 & 10 yesterday evening. I hate having a delivery that late as, even if the delivery is on time, it still takes a while to put it all away.
As it happened the delivery turned up at 10:15, so not too bad, but whoever picked the order obviously can't count!
I ordered 3 packs of lager and received 5 packs, 3 packs of small bottles of ginger beer and received 16 large bottles of ginger beer. I also received 12 cans of 7up and 4 large bottles of coke, neither of which I ordered.

Sainsbury's very kindly gave us some of their premium range frozen roast potatoes in goose fat in one of my recent orders! We had some of them for lunch yesterday and the opinion was that they were very good. All the better for being free too!

Meh, I never get extra stuff with my online orders, just bits missing or with a use by date if that day or the next. Every time I had to call up and get it sorted out so gave up and have an outing to the supermarket with the kids in tow :(

I used to be a Tesco girl.....no more, I do the majority of my shopping at Aldi, ok I have to carry it but the difference is better in my pocket than the shareholders.

They have lots of zero hours agency staff and drivers. I've had some good service in the past and some bad service recently. They need to up their game.

I rarely shop with Tesco as their prices are so much higher than Aldi and Morrisons both of which are close by. I did an online shop with Tesco recently because I could get £15 off a £60 shop and they were very good both with the delivery and getting my order correct, but I won't be shopping with them again unless they send me another money off offer.

I take it you were not charged for the extra/larger items?

I used to use Tesco all the time but have now switched to Aldi. Been out for our Christmas shop this morning and we agreed that it cost considerably less than it would have done at Tesco. The staff in our local Aldi are really lovely too.

Have not shopped at Tesco for about 15 years. Never had a delivery from any supermarket. So from what I am reading, I have not missed anything then.
Hope that you will not pay for their negligence.

I used to use Tesco and Asda but poor service and senseless substitutions put me off. Since moving it is lidl or Aldi and money in the bank.

Sainsbury have been 99% good for us. Disappointed that the broccoli was below par (went yellow quickly) but it was my only Christmas casualty! Now i am a regular shopper I am not getting so many £10 offers (confined to new customers - just like the banks!)

It's not a secret.

Y'day while Steve was out with his friend Bob, Betty phoned and asked if I'd like to go and get the cheap vegetables from the nearby...
