Fliss, you have my utmost sympathy!
It's bloody hard work dealing with some husband's isn't it.
I'm also at the stage of wanting to be in another room, unfortunately we only have two!
For me, it's eight years since his stroke and whilst I did have some sympathy, it has been gradually eroded by the constant complaining. Also the blame game, all sorts of things seem to be my fault even though I had no input whatsoever.
All we can do is keep buggering on and try to support each other along with other people in a similar situation.

It is good that you and flis are totally on the same wavelength and understand what each other is going though. It helps having someone to talk to whatever the medium doesn't it. 🙂
Yes - I think just speaking out does let the pressure out - His family were useless when I asked for help with him and his Dr can't do anything - I monitor him and call Nhs helpline if needed - They told me to do so again - They were going to send a paramedic out once after speaking to him on the phone and an urgent appointment at the hospital -He said he felt much calmer soon after his episode - His Dr said I should continue to call and even the police if he gets violent - Its been recorded x
Sorry to hear this-I hope you feel supported by your online friends. Catriona
You are both strong women to be able to stay with your husbands. I hope you each remember to take time for yourselves when you can and I hope you both can get help when you need it.
