I didn't manage to get a pic of them but it was lovely to watch them on the bird feeder.
There are bluetits and sparrows as well, the bird feeder is proving very popular.
I've had a letter complaining about my non-attendance for my hearing aid appointment. First they claimed that I'd received a phone call making the appointment, then they claimed they sent a letter. I'm absolutely desperate to get my new aids so there is no way I wouldn't have attended if I'd known. It seems they had an address for me that was 12 years old. Obviously the hospital are insisting the mistake is mine even though every other department has sent letters to my current address!
I've set up three seed trays and am hoping to grow some flowers for my new bed. I also have a couple of plants ready to go in and I'm hoping to buy a lavender plant too.

Well - your heading certainly grabbed my attention! And then I read that you hadn't managed to get a photo . . . .
I do miss seeing and hearing the birds who used to come and visit my garden; nowadays there's no hedge between my garden and the neighbours, since they replaced it with a high wooden fence. : ( I'm hoping that some new hedging might grow up from the few bits still remaining on my side. I hate living in a stockade!
Hope the hospital gets your address right so you can make your appointments. I put reminders for appointments on the calendar in my cell phone so I don't forget.
That sort of thing is SO frustrating. Where did they send the second letter to? (the one which related to your non attendance) I do hope you get sorted soon
Onwards and upwards, good for you. Lovely to make plans with no one interfering. Re: hospital balls up of course it’s not their fault🤣 I’ve come to the conclusion that nothing works as it should nowadays. If I start from that point I won’t be disappointed! Your heading and Rambler’s comments made me laugh so thank you girls. June
The phone call and letter that you didn't get were in all likelihood never sent - it's a "new" method that the NHS management uses to supposedly reduce their waiting lists. They don't actually call, don't actually send out the letters, and then they can blame it on the (puzzled) patient.
Be modest - don't flash your tits. :-) !
Are you boasting again Sue. 😄 My tits are great, gosh they're not even blue ... it seems we only have sparrows at the moment. 🙂
As for the letter, they obviously have your correct address if they could write to you this time. How bloody frustrating for you.
Lady, you have an excellent way with words!
