I keep in touch with Steve because I'm part owner of the flat he still lives in.
When he text me to say he was having a colonoscopy I replied by just acknowledging his message. He obviously wasn't particularly happy with my reply but after the procedure sent another message to tell me the results show no cancer but another issue.
I again acknowledged his message but remembered everyone's advice and DNE.
He will now receive treatment for whatever the issue is. My daughter has suggested she keeps in touch with him so we will know what is going on without me getting involved.

I had a colonoscopy I’m March and it took 6 weeks to get the results of a biopsy. The most likely thing he has been told is that he has diverticular disease which is common in older people-they told me that on the day. Catriona
That sounds like a good idea.
Probably just polyps. The guy who does mine is brilliant and pretty much talks to you and your ride home about what he saw and then give you copies of the pictures.
