We're going on a boat hunt

Well not so much a hunt, more of a viewing, we have a couple lined up.
Best of all, because I don't drive in the dark, we are staying overnight in a hotel. I do love it when someone else cooks breakfast!

Roast dinner pie

I used to make this regularly when my kids were all at home but I hadn't made it for ages until today.

I always wait until I've collected CHS from stroke club before I decide what to cook for tea as I don't want him to eat the same meal twice in one day.

He had jacket potatoes with tuna, cheese, beans and salad today.

I had some leftovers to use up, a cooked sausage, two stuffing balls and a few slices of chicken so added it all to a thick gravy, topped it with pastry and served it with Charlotte potatoes, buttered cabbage, carrots and broccoli.

It was very tasty, it cleared a space in the fridge and saved wasting any food.

Don't panic Captain Mainwaring

Woke up this morning in a panic as I suddenly remembered that I'd left the rabbit hutch at the house.

I had three rabbits on a lead and no where to put them.

I couldn't go back and collect the hutch as we have already completed.

Ok so you probably realised before I did that this was a dream.

But it took me a while to calm down when I woke up properly.

Tomorrow!!!!!

We have exchanged contracts, woohoo.
It happened yesterday morning.
Completion is tomorrow.
Today DD1 and went to collect a few things from the garden that she wanted.
Who knew you could fit five fruit trees in a VW!

Thank you for all you kind comments on my previous post, it seem there are a lot of us short arse's around.

The perils of being a short arse.

I once had a kitchen fitted and had to get the fitter, who was 6ft tall to lower the cupboard shelves as I couldn't reach them.

I did aquarobics for a few weeks but kept getting told off for swimming when I should have been walking, trouble was when I walked the water came over my head!

I cannot have an oven set in a tall unit as I can't reach to get things off the oven shelves.

I cannot reach a microwave what it is fitted above an oven.

I once had a rented flat where I couldn't see myself in any of the mirrors.

I struggle to get in and out of people carriers and trucks.

I get back ache on most chairs and sofas.
I get swollen ankles when I go out for a meal or to the pub as my legs don't reach the floor and they dangle.

Getting on to a bar stool is almost impossible.

Even when I lower the sun shield in a car the sun shines underneath it.

Car seat belts always cut across my neck even when on the lowest setting.

To reach the pedals in a car my nose is almost touching the windscreen.

I cannot reach the middle of my car windscreen to scrape the ice off.

I cannot reach things on the top shelves in a supermarket.

I struggle to hang washing on a rotary line.

I cannot see over the top of the boat to steer it.
