Planning

It's half term this week and when I'm home all day I tend to eat everything that doesn't move.

To avoid this I planned my meals & bought most of what I needed.

Breakfasts will be either poached eggs on toast, boiled eggs with soldiers or beans on toast.

Lunches. Jacket potato, HM soup or pasta with tuna and sweetcorn.

Evening meals, chicken chow mein, sausage & mash, chops with HM chips, spag bol and liver, bacon and onion with mediterranean veg.

I wasn't able to get any potatoes but I have everything else.

Of course all this could go tits up if, as I suspect, the week is spent sorting out a care package for MIL.

Re care package - get everything in writing! Double check everything. Do not trust social worker - had to get MP involved sorting stuff for father! Hugs WS xxx

Catriona, I don't know why/where the linkedin has come from either & yes I did get 20% off, thanks.

Lyssa, thanks for the advice I wouldn't have thought of that, I will take notes during the forthcoming case conference & ensure everything in in writing.

I second what Lyssa has said. Get Everything in writing. If the experience is anything like ours no matter how bad MIL is, their professional opinion is likely to be she's fit enough to run a marathon. I really hope that's not the case for you but be prepared to have to fight for everything. xx

We took notes during the meeting and we got a copy of their notes as well. It didn't cover stuff that I didn't realise I didn't know (iyswim) I didn't even know what questions to ask!

I suggest you really ask them to spell everything out in writing. Make sure you know about payments etc - definitely get all money stuff in writing! For me the added stress of it all nearly finished me.

Sending hugs. Septacemia isn't good. WS xxx
