This post is for someone who asked about the washing machine, this is mine.
It's a Candy Aquamatic, it take a 3.5k load and has a 30min rapid cycle.
The machine is tucked away by the steps up to the stern deck.
There is no tumble dryer so after the debacle of losing our clothes and the airer the clothes are hung over the curtain bars and they will dry overnight as the Squirrel is pumping out a lot of heat.

Have you the space for one of the old fashioned pulleys? The drying racks that lower from the ceiling, usually made of wood.
We had one when I was a child and I remember seeing them in an ad in the back of a UK woman's magazine
Is that a special small-size washing machine as 3.5kg is a small load, is it not? but if it fits into a small space, that's great.

50, no there wouldn't be room as I can touch the roof of the boat and I'm barely 5ft tall.
Margaret, it's a very small machine but it's better than washing by hand or hunting for a launderette. I'm grateful that it's there as we probably would not have bought one.
Good that the washing machine came with the boat. How many more stops until home. Does it give you more or an idea what it will be like to live on boat full time. I expect it's like a holiday because you are moving.
Would an indoor retractable clothes line work for you?
I was also wondering like Markdebby that this experience will make you sit up and think about doing this on a permanent basis?
For the most part it will be easier once we are on a home mooring as we can plug into shore power and the other facilities will be near by so we won't be having to hint for them as we move.
Squirrel is just perfect for drying clothes. I am really enjoying your new journey.
I wonder if condensation might become a problem before too long, especially if you dry things overnight when there's no air flow. Maybe with a home mooring, you could have a semi-permanent whirligig on land next to your boat?
We have a dehumidifier on the boat and will have a whirly line attached to the tiller when we are home
I would love to live on a narrow boat but we physically could not manage the locks xxx
