Two fecking days!
I have a Henry hoover, it's very efficient but it's heavy and as Steve insists that it must be kept on the top shelf of one of our cupboards. It's extremely inconvenient and difficult to lift from the shelf to the floor.
I've been lifting Henry down from the shelf since we moved here. This week I decided enough was enough and I told Steve he was to lift it down. This he did for two days, he then decided that it was too inconvenient and ordered a new lightweight stick vacuum cleaner!

Well done! Smart one you are! Hugs!
Next get him to Hoover round better than you.!!!!Hugs from Val and Poppy
You should try that on other things, well done xx
I hope your new stick vacuum does a better job than mine did. Nowhere near as much power, I was following up with a stiff brush on the carpeting. It also hurt my shoulder to push it along. I had a cleaning lady for a while - after using the Hoover stick vac she brought her own! It has since been sent to the tip.
There must be somewhere on the floor where your Henry could live? Under the bed? Tell Himself that it's hurting your shoulder and it's no good; let him show you how good he is at using it.
My MIL had a way to get her husband to do more. For instance, she didn't stack the dishwasher the way he liked so he gave up teaching her and took the job over himself. I thought that was a clever way to get him to do the chores she didn't want to do anyway. If you don't vacuum well with the new stick vacuum, maybe Steve will have to take that job away from you?!! ;)
I've got one of those - I used to carry it up and downstairs - I struggle now with it - My rechargeable has broken - so I can't vacuum any longer - If he wants it doing he has to do it - He drops all the crumbs and wears muddy shoes x
Lolol...thanks for the smile today!
hugs
