I met my son for lunch, he was falling asleep.
He'd spent the last few hours of his shift with a suicide attempt.
The person was talked down to safety eventually.
Not everyone's Christmas is merry and bright!

Thank goodness there are people like your son. I expect he was drained after that. Hope the person involved gets help and glad any family has not had to suffer awful.news.
A good opportunity to count our blessings. I'm sure we all have things to be thankful for.
My son has spent far too many holidays doing exactly that, it's both emotionally and physically draining. I'm glad he switched careers this year, he's a different man now.
