My L&M doesn't have a leaving date yet.
but I have decided on a retirement date.
Drum Roll please.
I have decided to retire at Christmas 2017.
Hopefully, by then everything else will be sorted out and I can stroll off in to the sunset.
Y'days lamb was delicious and there is lots left. So today I'm making a stew, I'll use half of the left over lamb and add onion ...

That is wonderful. You now have a date you can plan towards, or countdown to, ta-da!

Lovely to have a date in sight for your retirement-x-
Well done you. I decided 9 months before I finished that I was going and it was such a positive experience from then on. Catriona
I'm hoping it will all work out that way.
Retirement is the best thing that ever happened to my husband and me. Good luck.
It's great to have a date to work to, I'm still happy to be working, but that could change at any moment.
Well done in making the decision. Now enjoy the planning, set some targets and talk through what is important and what is not. I know you have done a lot of this already! I retired at 62.5 and it was the best decision ever - health wise (physical and mental) and I have become really interested in the world again!
wonderful news! hoping it all goes smoothly from here on in...
