Two reasons

I can relate - it took me half an hour this morning to remember that it was Friday and not Saturday - again.

We didn't clap last night either, I felt so guilty when I looked at the clock and it was ten to nine. We had been immersed in a film on DVD as there was nothing on the tele that we wanted to watch.

Years ago I remember a story on the radio about senility saying if you forget where your car keys are, it's just normal stress. It's when you can't remember what your car keys are for that you have a problem. I spent all day yesterday sure it was Wednesday. I take a great deal of comfort in that while I've no idea where the car key has wandered off to (I think it's hanging out with the cat brush which has also turned up missing) I do know if I ever find it, what the thing is for.
