It's THAT time of year again



It's willow fluff time, the canal is full of it, great swathes of it, it's filling the boat and drifts of it lift as you walk along the towpath. Time to crack out the antihistamines I think.

I feel for you, Hester. I have just finished skimming the surface of the pool for something similar. Luckily I don't suffer from hay fever but I have been sneezing a lot.

Apparently it was reported on the news it was snowing. Someone a little bit ignorant. It was the blossom!

JJ, Snowing, lol, I suppose if you were looking out the window it could look like it.

Chris, it must be hard work keeping a pool clear.

I've developed hay fever for the first time this year - and I am not enjoying it!! This week I was visiting a different area and called into B&M. I discovered that they have antihistamines (both loratadine and cetirizine) in packs of 30 tablets for £1. I've been buying them in 14 tablet packs for 80p so I've got a little stock now : )

Road salt.
