Last week CHS came shopping with me, he spent £91 in the supermarket and I still had to do two top up shops for milk and veg.
Yesterday I shopped alone, I spent £24, hopefully I will not need any top up shops as I have lots of veg and milk in.
Next weeks meal plan.
In no particular order.
Roast turkey, turkey, ham and mushroom pie, Turkey and noodles, spaghetti bolognese, fish pie, pork chops, chicken and ribs.

Its the other way round in this house as the DP does all the domestics. But what I buy isnt crap.....well...
My shopping bill doubles when my OH comes shopping too. He dawdles 3 aisles behind me, pushing the trolley and I'm staggering round with arms full of groceries waiting for him to catch up. I swear he does it on purpose so I don't ask him to help more than once in a blue moon.
Yep, my hubby doubles my food bill. I don't allow him near the shop now. X
I don't mind as he always pays when he shops, I tend to dawdle around with him and only stop him buying stuff that won't fit in our 26 litre freezer.
That all sounds pretty good to me except that I rarely eat meat.
My husband is just the opposite - he's naturally frugal, perhaps the result of being a child during WW2. He will often remark, as I put a little treat into the supermarket trolley, "Do you/we really need that?"
