Don't tell him Pike

Yesterday morning a large half eaten pike was found on the edge of the marina.

The pike was easily the size of a man's arm.

The marina staff set up a camera and were able to film an otter as it came back the following night to reclaim its supper.

How wonderful, the otter must have a big appetite to have eaten half the first night. I have just found out we have otters on our riverbank near to where the local Heron has his territory. I keep loitering trying to spot any signs but nothing so far. Isn't it good that suddenly they are in more places in the country.
