Jaccs, no he just likes noisy stuff, chain saws, politicians shouting, loud music, anything like that.
Jane I wish I had more patience.
My poor little grandson who is 7 isn't sleeping well and keeps crying.
They had an assembly at school about the war in Ukraine, poor Teddy is so scared now.

I'm not discussing this with my son, not until he asks. Besides, I feely desperately uninformed. I'm sure there is more going on behind the scenes than we can ever know.
It's a worrying time for everyone, and must be hell in Ukraine.
Hope Teddy gets over his scare. We are all scared but it must be doubly worrying for kids.
I do not think 7 year old children should be exposed to all of the terror and frightening details in a school assembly setting. I think that is something for home discussion. Adults need to know all we can about the Ukraine situation, but do 7 year old children need to be exposed to all known information about what is happening there, not in my opinion.
I don't know if they are discussing that in assemblies here in the USA with young children. One day this week, here in my area of Missouri, someone thought it would be a great idea to have a spring tornado drill for the kids at school, and also that
day they decided to have a drill for an active shooter in the building.
I wonder how many of the kids drifted off easily to sleep in their beds that evening.
I am surprised they didn't close the day out with an assembly about Ukraine.
