I've just read a post on Facebook, I belong to a few boater groups, very useful for asking advice.
One of the groups is called Women on the Cut,a lady joined the group a short time ago but now she was saying goodbye.
She and her husband had split up after only six weeks of living on their boat.
They have been married 14 years!
As I've said before, boat life isn't for everyone.

How incredibly sad. One wonders if they'd really thought it through. Or perhaps things were already shaky and they thought a change would be a fresh start. Makes you grateful for a long and happy marriage...
Maybe living in such close proximity did in their marriage!
I should have thought their relationship must have been a bit rocky to start with wouldn't you?
Still its a shame.

Not a lot of space for disagreements on a boat but how sad
I can imagine it being difficult. It's taken me a while to get used to hubby being home more now he only works two days. And I get particularly annoyed when he is in the kitchen the same time as me as he doesn't anticipate my movements.
It takes time to adjust to living in a confined space, personally I'd have give it longer.
