Moving day

Three locks, three swing bridges, four hours, Loulou's first proper boat trip. Once we were moored up I cooked roast beef. Beano and Loulou enjoyed their share.

We arrived at one lock to find two families trying to launch a couple of inflatables. They were not impressed that they had to move to allow canal boats through. They had set up picnic tables, fishing rods, Sun loungers etc, they had planned to stay there all day.

We are now at Ufton Nervet for a few days.

Ha ha. I can never understand people not checking before 'moving in'. Unbelievable.

Stew

Y'days lamb was delicious and there is lots left. So today I'm making a stew, I'll use half of the left over lamb and add onion ...
