Still here

But bored sh1tless.

It's been too darn hot to walk Beano more than once a day.

Steve is being a PITA as usual.

It's cooler today so that means more walks for me and Beano.

Now I have my new hearing aids Steve is having to whisper really quietly which is making his throat sore! He's always claimed it hurts his throat to speak loud enough for me to hear. I'm now able to hear all says which he hates!

Brilliant news that you have got new hearing aids and that they are working well. Poor Steve having to whisper ... you are cruel to him. ;-)

Congratulations on your hearing aids. (If you're anything like me you'll probably find the majority isn't worth listening to) W

The news about your hearing aids working so well is absolutely awesome. I hope you'll enjoy some good conversation with others in your complex over coffee or tea very soon.

Your new aids should mean you can spend some time in the summer house, actually being able to join in conversations!
As for Steve having to whisper, tough! X

So pleased you at last have hearing aids which work for you. You'll probably find that EVERYTHING is too loud until you get used to the volume of sound around you, even the sparrows chirruping! But hopefully it will open up a whole new world where you can join in conversations with family, friends & neighbours. And hear all those sweet nothings that Steve murmurs in your ear!!! Enjoy the nice sounds around you and ignore - or snap back at - the nasty stuff.

Great news on your new hearing aids. They should make such a huge difference to your socialising. Perhaps, with a bit of luck, Steve will decide his throat becomes too sore to speak to you unless it is something nice. Pollie.

Wonderful news about the hearing aids! Hopefully this means you'll be able to ride the bus and get about more easily.

It's not a secret.

Y'day while Steve was out with his friend Bob, Betty phoned and asked if I'd like to go and get the cheap vegetables from the nearby...
