Random rabbitings

Peace has returned to the marina, it is still busy but the porno/yoga lady is no longer here thankfully.

We shopped today, well Steve shopped, I walked Beano nearby.

I really don't care about Dominic Cummings though I am sure a lot of parents with autistic children are struggling. If he is to be sacked, how about sacking every other person who also 'broke the rules'.

DD2 received her free school meals tokens today, better later than never and only for two of her children, maybe she's not expected to feed the others! Also they cannot be used online at Tesco, only in store. She will use them at Asda where they can be used online, she has a click and collect slot booked.

Don't the wheels of those so called in charge turn slowly. I don't know how people are expected to survive, so hope your daughter gets vouchers for all her children soon.

I hope your daughter has found the school helpful ? I've been so impressed by the way the school I work at has gone above and beyond to support families, its been so good to see real needs being met.

Regarding Cummings, another blogger pointed something out I hadn't realised and Cummings didn't think was worth mentioning...............THE FACT THAT IT WAS HIS WIFES BIRTHDAY on April 12th. So that trip to a local beauty spot wasn't to check his " wonky eyesight " with his kid and wife in the car, it was a jolly....at a time we couldn't drive anywhere for exercise and " I wanted a treat day out for my wifes birthday " isn't acceptable in any way.

I also have an extremely severely autistic adult son, who also has rheumatoid arthritis and is medicated 24/7 for pain and SHOULD have been having hospital appointments regarding this. His psychiatric problems are also now off the scale and he has PRN meds in case of a really bad episode. He is already medicated daily for that as well as epilepsy. He is handling lockdown extremely poorly but I'm not a bad parent for not driving him around like Dominic Cummings thinks he can do.

I thought we were all in this together. I sat and cried and cried listening to Cummings as I realised the truth. He must go.

Apparently it's not true that Cummings' son is autistic. It was spread around twitter but th source quoted was untrue.

Y'days lamb was delicious and there is lots left. So today I'm making a stew, I'll use half of the left over lamb and add onion ...
