I draw the line

I'm usually very conscientious about poo picking, I will even pick up other dog poo I see.

A few times though Beano has gone under a bush and I refuse to scrabble through the undergrowth to get to the deposit.

Yesterday really took the biscuit.

Beano went to the side of the path and positioned himself against a fence, the deposit went through a hole in the fence and dropped down a three foot bank, it can stay there I'm afraid.

I also use compostable bags to cut down on my plastic use.

Maybe Beano doesn't want his poo picked up??? Don't blame you for not getting the "hard to get" ones!!

As you say there is a line! No way a child or anyone likely to tread in that!

I once watched a woman carefully arrange leaves over her dog's deposit to avoid picking it up. Debbie

You are a good neighbour, picking up after your pet. Most here are pretty conscientious about that too.

The only reason to pick up is so that people don't step in it. Off the beaten track is fine to be left because it's only manure which does the ground good.

My small. grand dog does the same. He backs into shrubs. Impossible!

I am a poop picker upper. My husband used a trowel and hung it up outside when they came home from a walk. This past winter, Dexter and I were out for him to poop. There is construction going on next to us. He went way over by the construction fence to poop. I, not having a brain that day stepped over to pick it up and sunk up to the top of my leg in snow. Yup forgot they dug deep there. I got the poop but it sure took me a bit to get out of that mess. Had a darn good laugh when I got home. Love your blog and your antics.
