Just a couple of quick replies.
I've never received a flu jab invite but Steve has, when I enquired I was told I'd be informed when I was due but never heard anything.
I'm expecting to have to chase the surgery to get the covid vaccine.
I don't want to use wire on the decorations as they are for the grandchildren and I'd worry about them picking their fingers.

I'd chase them up over that flu jab. They reckon you have to leave a couple of weeks between having the flu vaccine and the vaccine for covid.
we both got an invite to the flu clinic but being as its a gazebo in the surgery car park with a queue down the road it isnt happening yet . Generally other half waits till about February till theres no waiting or queue . It triggers a major shingles outbreak every time so i flatly refuse
Lloyds Chemist are doing Flu vaccines free on an over 50's program. Maybe a Chemist near you could do the same
Don't wait for an invitation for the flu jab; this year for the first time our surgery didn't send out invitations. I happened to see people discussing it on our village Facebook page, so I rang the surgery. They gave me an appointment for the following Saturday. I also emailed my local friends to inform them so that they wouldn't miss out.
We don't get an invitation for the flu jab so we just ring the surgery and ask when we can get one. It puts the onus on us. I am waiting to see what happens with the Covid jab.
I had 1 invite from my surgery for a clinic miles away. I booked to have it done in the local Tesco's pharmacy...the next day! Was in and out in 5 minutes. They inform your GP for you so felt completely hassle free
