The stupidity of some people amazes me, on Sunday I walked round to the post box to post off the three cards I've sent this year.
Some muppet parked his car, got his child, aged about 3 out of the car and left him stood in the middle of the road whilst he went back to the other side of the car to get his own coat from the back seat!
There were cars driving along the road to which Dad seemed totally oblivious!

The trouble is any daft beggars can have children but it takes skill to be a parent. The same sort of daft beggars push prams and buggies into the road while they follow it - I know prams are designed to be pushed but there are times when this is not the wisest thing to do.

No I didn't say anything, I just took the child by the hand and moved him to the pavement.
Makes you wonder about the human race.
One day, I was once washing dishes and happened to look up out the window just as the neighbours car shot out the drive backwards, across a two way street, through a fence and into the house across the road...shattering the basement window quite dramatically. In the car- a baby (in a car seat) and an 18 month old that managed to get out of hers and get in the front seat and put the car in reverse....back in the day when you didn't need to step on the brake to change gears... Mom had left the car running to dash back to the house "just for a momemt"!! No one was hurt, just badly shaken.
